11”x14” Oil on Canvas. I painted this within Dinosaur National Monument near Vernal, Utah. It was really fun trying to capture the undulating landscape. I love going outside and painting it truly is such a pleasure. When people ask me about plein air painting I always say it’s like painting with a tube of paint that you didn’t even know you were painting with. Something magical just gets transposed onto the canvas when you’re out in the elements trying to capture the infinite beauty of nature.
