On may 25th Me and three friends, Kate Comstock, Trevor Dahl, and Connor Weight, went to the stratos data center site to do some paintings of the land before the human jackals came to destroy it. We camped on the land and took it all in. All four of us were sort of stunned to find out how beautiful the land was. The media we consume (and the really cool governor) has had the hint in it that this land is a great spot for a data center because it’s a wasteland and there’s nothing there. What we found was beauty. We each did paintings of the land and Kate made a video (which you can see on youtube “make art not datacenters”). If you have the means you should go up there and see the land before they raze it. there is plenty of Bureau of Land management land up there (public land that you can camp on). Take nothing but pictures and leave nothing but footprints. But go up there and check it out. soon there will be an incomprehensibly large walmart there.
