This painting was inspired by my recent artist group trip to Salt Lake’s water treatment facility. We learned all about the way that we turn waste water into clean water. It was a really amazing and inspiring experience. This painting is based off of a photo I took of the water at the end of its journey being returned to the Great Salt Lake. Waste water that has been treated is called Effluent. It was really amazing to see how no matter who you are all of our waste goes to this facility to get treated and returned to the earth.
